AeraMax Pro units: AeraMax Pro units feature our EnviroSmart™ sensor technology which takes into consideration the type of filter loaded into the unit to optimize performance. Your AeraMax Pro unit will not run if its sensors do not detect the proper information located on the filter. When the time comes to replace your filters we recommend using certified AeraMax Pro replacement filters.
AeraMax Personal Units: Using other types of filters could result in dramatically reduced efficiency of your air purifier. Other types of filters may not correctly fit into your product, leaving air gaps, through which dirty air will be able to pass through without being filtered and cleaned. When the time comes to replace your filters we recommended using only Fellowes® AeraMax™ replacement filters.
